The team you will join is a team of 7 people, 1 QA Engineer, 2 Android Engineers, 2 BE Engineers,1 Designer, a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager. Our work is done in sprints. We build exciting solutions for internal users, our employees.
Our Android application is used by our Germany-wide workforce and is key to the digitization of the energy business. It’s an enterprise-grade application that connects to our backend services. The code base that was originally a native Java application now boasts a 75% Kotlin to Java ratio. Our main data store is Room.
Since our business is constantly growing and changing, new feature requests or requirements may emerge every day. As a result, we build software that is highly maintainable and scalable to satisfy those needs.

And recognise yourself here

• We are looking for hands-on 4 + yrs of Kotlin experience with the native Android APIs
• You have experience with writing and shipping jetpack compose code in production. 
• Sound understanding of software design approaches like SOLID and Domain Driven Design
• Experience with functional programming aspects.
• You have a strong understanding of application architectures(MVVM/MVP/MVI/etc.)
• You love testing. Unit tests and Integration tests are normal to you and you are hands-on with quality assurance and automated tests
• Have a good understanding of Room and Firebase
• You have continuous integration and delivery knowledge
• You are fluent in English

Nice to have but not required:

• Knowledge of ktor

• If it still fits from both sides, we will send you a short home assignment ( Coding Challenge )
